Jesus told the Samaritan woman that she didn't know what she was
worshipping. The Samaritans were worshipping in a false religion, as do most
people today. Most people do not know what they are worshipping, because
they are woefully ignorant of the truth of God's Word.
Roman Catholicism is the biggest false cult in the world. Catholics don't know what they worship. They think they are worshipping God by sinfully bowing in idolatry to statues of The Blessed Virgin Mary, or The Image of Divine Mercy, or other idolatrous practices. The Bible condemns such manmade traditions in Mark 7:6-13, Matthew 6:7, 1st Timothy 4:1-3, and many other places. Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
God hates false religion that deceives people into Hell. Just as Eve was deceived by the Devil in the Garden of Eden, so are Roman Catholics deceived by Satan. No priest can absolve your sins. You can say, “Bless me father for I have sinned” until your voice is gone, but it won't do you any good. You don't know what you are worshipping. That priest is a sinful human being, just like you or anybody else; you need the Lord's forgiveness, for only Jesus has the nail-scared hands and feet. Jesus paid for your sins, and not some sinister minister. Job 13:7, “Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?”
The Rosary is of the Devil. You can recite all the “Hail Marys” you want, but it's all done in vain. Religion is a paved road to Hell and damnation. The Devil always pays with counterfeit money. You'd better forsake your false religion and place your trust in the Son of God. The sacraments are a road to Hell. Water baptism cannot save you. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”
Those who attend the Roman Catholic Church are God's enemies. Anyone who professes to love Jesus while faithfully attending the Catholic Church is a bold-faced liar, because the Catholic religion teaches lies of the Devil. They worship statues. Even bowing to a statue or image is idolatry the Bible teaches in Exodus 20:4-5. Catholics bow to statues of their popes, and to the Blessed Virgin. They worship they know not what!!!
Catholics are taught The Immaculate Conception of Mary, that is, the lie that Mary was born without a sin-nature. The Bible teaches in Romans 3:23, “For ALL have sinned...” This heretical doctrine should be called The Immaculate DECEPTION. The Vatican are a bunch of liars when it comes to religion and the Bible. They worship they know not what!!!
Catholics are also taught the Perpetual Virginity of Mary, but the Bible teaches that Mary did not remain a virgin. Mary and Joseph became married after Jesus was born, and had at least 6 other biological children (Matthew 13:55-56). The Catholic religion lies and lies and lies. They worship they know not what!!!
Not only do Catholics believe that Mary was sinless. Not only do Catholics believe that Mary remained a virgin forever. But Catholics also believe that Mary never died a physical death; but rather, she was bodily taken up into Heaven. They call this heresy The Assumption of Mary, which wasn't sanctioned as official Catholic dogma until 1950. Yet the Bible plainly teaches in Romans 6:23 that the wages of sin is death. Hebrews 9:27 teaches that all men have an appointed time to die. Since Catholics deny that Mary was a sinner (calling God a liar, 1st John 1:8,10), they consequently had to also claim that Mary never died... for the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). One heresy begets another heresy!
Catholics do NOT know what they worship! The Vatican has morphed Mary into a monster. The Holy See in Rome ought to be called the Unholy See, for that is what it really is. The Pope is the vicar of Hell, not Heaven. I'll say it again... THE POPE IS THE VICAR OF HELL!!!
The Catholic Church is a prisonhouse of religion, knowing not what they worship, just as Jesus warned in John 4:22. God is not worshipped with sacraments, rituals, ceremonies, and formalism. From the cradle-to-the-casket, Catholicism has a religious package for you; but it's all churchianity and not genuine Christianity. You can faithfully go down to your parish and say Mass every day, but you'll split Hell wide open when you die in your sins without Christ. Adding anything to simple childlike faith in Jesus as the Christ is to pervert the simplicity of the Gospel message. Jesus died, was buried, and rose again 3 days later for our justification (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Jesus paid for our sins by His own literal blood sacrifice (1st Peter 1:18-19).
Catholics require MUCH more to be saved in their religion. They teach that you MUST keep the 7-sacraments, and become a member of the Catholic Church through water baptism, and confess your sins to a Catholic priest. One of th saddest testimonies I've ever heard is the story of Catholic Priest John Corapi. Mr. Corapi professes to have absolved his own father's sins, and his father believed that his son forgave his sins so that he could enter into Heaven. What a sad story, for the Bible teaches that both of those men are woefully deceived. 1st Timothy 2:5 teaches that there is only one MEDIATOR between God the Father and sinful mankind... the man CHRIST JESUS!!! You can only have your sins forgiven through Jesus' name, and by no other (Acts 4:10-12). Most people don't know what they are worshipping!
The Bible teaches that Catholic priests are cursed for daring to claim the power to bless others with the forgiveness of sins. Jeremiah 17:5, “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” Did you read that? Cursed be the man that trusteth in man!!! John Corapi's father trusted in his earthly son, a mere Catholic priest, to absolve all his sins so that he could go to Heaven. Tragically, he didn't trust upon the Lord to forgive His sins as the Bible commands (Acts 10:43). Religion is a road to Hell. Sincerity is not acceptable to God (Proverb 14:12; 16:25). You MUST obey the Gospel or perish in Hellfire forever (2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9; Romans 1:16; Titus 3:5).
I've only exposed the fraud of Catholicism on this webpage, but there are hundreds of other mainstream false religions that are of the Devil. They know not what they worship. Jesus told us what to do in John 4:24, that is, to worship God in spirit and in truth. This is why Jesus said, “ye must be born-again” in John 3:5. You'll never understand anything until you receive Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God; believing on His name for the forgiveness of sins (John 1:12). And Jesus told us to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES in John 5:39, which testify of Him. God's Word is truth (John 17:17).
Roman Catholics attempt to worship God with prayer recital books, catechism traditions, sacraments, and ceremonies; but there is no truth and the Spirit of God is not present in their services. Mark 7:9 and 13, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. ...Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.” Is this not Catholicism to the letter? The Bible nails Catholicism as a hellish false religion based upon manmade traditions. They have totally set aside the Bible in order to sinfully keep their own traditions instead.
1st Timothy 4:1-3 even warns us that false prophets would come, forbidding some to eat meat or get married. What religion teaches celibacy for their priests? What religion forbids eating red meats on Fridays? Catholicism!!! Any Roman Catholic who remains in that cursed religion after reading this article is doing exactly what Jesus said in Mark 7:9... FULL WELL YE REJECT THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD THAT YE MAY KEEP YOUR OWN TRADITION. You just don't care about pleasing God, plain and simple. You are fraternizing with the enemy and are on the Devil's side (James 4:4). No member of Catholicism is a friend of God. YE KNOW NOT WHAT YE WORSHIP! Catholics pray in vain (Matthew 6:7). Catholics abstain from meats and marriage in vain (1st Timothy 4:1-3). Catholics sinfully call their priests “father” in vain (Matthew 23:9). Catholics sinfully idolize Sister Faustina's Image of Divine Mercy in vain (Exodus 20:4-5). Catholics sinfully bow to Our Lady of Fatima in vain (Exodus 20:4-5; Jeremiah 7:18, the Babylonian, Queen of Heaven). Catholics are the blind leading the blind into a deep ditch. They know not what they worship!!!
