Proverb 30:20, “Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.”
The adulterous woman in Proverb 30:20 if so typical of people in the world
today. She was unrepentant concerning her sin. People so often rationalize
and look for excuses to justify their sins. This is evil. All across America
people are trying to justify committing sin. But God is recording every sin
in His book in Heaven. Revelation 20:12, "And I saw the dead, small and
great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those
things which were written in the books, according to their works."
Notice the words, "and the books were opened." God is keeping tab on
everything we say and do. Also notice that the wicked shall be judged
"according to their works." What HAPPENS in Vegas is RECORDED IN HEAVEN!
America is filled today with adulterous women, from the whores of Las Vegas to the hussies of Hollywood. The majority of America's women today have become lewd, rude and crude. A rebellious generation are they, but they all say . . .
"I have done no wickedness."
I say this to their shame. People have a tendency to categorize sin, esteeming certain sins as being worse than others; but God doesn't see it that way. James 2:10, "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." Certainly, fornication and adultery are horrible sins, but being unrepentant is at the top of the list too. No sin is excusable or permissible in the Christian's life. God hates all sin and wants us to forsake all sin as his children. Of course, our salvation is centered in Christ's righteousness and not our own self-righteousness, so forsaking the act of sin is not a prerequisite to salvation. Jesus paid for our sins so we wouldn't have to suffer in the Lake of Fire. To be saved, a sinner must acknowledge their guilt of sin before God, confessing to God that they've broken His Laws, and are deserving of punishment in hellfire, and then believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive those of sins. Acts 10:43, "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins."
It is interesting that the Bible says the adulterous woman in Proverb 30:20 "wipeth her mouth," likening her sin to eating a meal, remindful of the forbidden fruit which Eve ate in the Garden of Eden and then gave to Adam to eat also. Sin often appears as a hearty and nutritious meal laid out before us, but the end is food-poisoning and death. The adulterous woman wipes her mouth and sinfully says, "I have done no wickedness." Oh, but yes she has! She has broken the seventh Commandment of the Ten Commandments which God gave to Moses. "Thou shalt not commit adultery," Exodus 20:14.
So many people today are committing horrible sins, twisting the Scriptures in a sinful attempt to say, "I have done no wickedness."
This is why we see homosexuals on the translating committee of the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible. To no surprise they completely removed the word "sodomite" from the NIV. Sodom was that Old Testament city upon which God reigned down fire and brimstone to destroy it, because the wickedness was so horrible. America today is much more wicked than Sodom and our day of reckoning as a nation is coming. Yet the Bible corrupters all say, "I have done no wickedness." But God says, Deuteronomy 4:2, "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." They are in big trouble with God for perverting the Scriptures! The NIV removes the name above every other name, "JESUS," in 38 places!!! It is sinful.
The abortion crowd seeks to justify their evil saying, "I have done no wickedness." Oh, but yes they have! Exodus 20:13 tells us, "Thou shalt not kill." Abortion is murder!!! Just as the adulterous woman in Proverb 30:20 who wipes her mouth after committing a horrible sin against God, saying, "I have done no wickedness," so do abortionists attempt to justify their sins. They cannot be justified!
Never before in the history of mankind have we seen such sexual perversion, lasciviousness and filth as we do in today's modern society. Television and recording technologies have brought with it a whole new era of wickedness. More than 12% of all webpages are dedicated to pornography, which has become a $50,000,000,000 a year industry just in America alone. If I were a king and had the power to do so, I would destroy every last bit of pornography in the world and make it a crime punishable by death. The world would quickly become a much nicer place to live. Truly, 1st Timothy 6:10 is correct in stating, "For the love of money is the ROOT of all evil." Take away the money and the pornography would stop immediately. Take away the money and Hollywood wouldn't have whores to film. Take away the money and Las Vegas would shut down overnight. Woe unto the wicked who have sold their virtue and souls for filthy lucre. We were born with nothing and well leave this earth with nothing; but everything we do, that is righteousness and honest, for the Gospel's sake and the name of Jesus Christ will follow us into eternity. Revelation 14:13, "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." Every one is either living for Satan; or for Jesus Christ.
American society today is saturated with demonic influences, from drunkenness to gambling, from abortion to homosexuality, from feminism to divorce, from rebellion to immodestly dressed women, from pornography to the teachings of Evolution, from vile Rock 'N' Roll to filthy Country music, from the smut of MTV (Music Television) and CMT (Country Music Television) to the witchcraft of Harry Potter, from the filth of Wife Swap to the smut of Desperate Housewives, from the theft of trillions-of-dollars of taxpayer money by the government to choosing a Communist U.S. president, America is in trouble with God for saying . . . "I have done no wickedness!" Oh, yes we have!!!
