One of the most popular religious publications for over the past 75
years (since 1938) has been 'OUR DAILY BREAD,' founded by Pastor M.R.
DeHaan (1891-1965). I have the utmost respect for Dr. DeHaan. He was an
amazing man, a medical physician, who converted to Christianity and
pursued the clergy instead. Here's some brief information from Wikipedia
about Our Daily Bread:
As a Christian organization, it was originally called the "Detroit Bible Class" when it was founded in 1938, it later became known as "Radio Bible Class". In 1994 the name was changed to RBC Ministries, and in 2015, the name was changed to Our Daily Bread Ministries. Its founder, Dr. M. R. De Haan, led the organization until 1965. Richard De Haan took over in 1965 and led the organization until 1985. Mart De Haan, son of Richard, and grandson of Martin was the president until October 5, 2011, when the presidency was handed over to his brother, Rick.[1]
I bought a few books from Amazon.com by M.R. DeHaan (which I highly recommend). One of the most amazing books that I have ever read by Dr. DeHaan is called: 'THE TABERNACLE.' It is a brilliant masterpiece in my humble opinion. In this excellent and informative book, which upholds THE TRUTH of the necessity of Jesus' literal blood sacrifice sprinkled upon the heavenly Mercy Seat, Pastor DeHaan makes this VERY IMPORTANT observation...
“Be on guard against any tampering with the Word, whether disguised as a search for truth, or a scholarly attempt at apparently hidden meanings; and beware of the confusion created by the senseless rash of new versions, translations, editions, and improvements upon the tried and tested Bible of our fathers and grandfathers.” [emphasis added] —SOURCE: Pastor M.R. Kindly, Pastor DeHaan was a brilliant man and an informed Christian, who had enough spiritual discernment before his death in 1965, to see that Satan is behind the constant effort to rewrite the Word of God. Today in 2020, we literally have HUNDREDS of existing English Bible revisions to choose from. Folks, that is apostasy! And anyone who sanctions this confusing mess is pulling on the same rope as the Devil. I say that lovingly, but truthfully. Pastor DeHaan's descendants, who continue to operate the 'Our Daily Bread' organization today, have dropped the ball for God in my humble opinion. I think it is awful that they use the modern Bible revisions in their publication. The Devil is the author of confusing. The Devil knows that the best way to trip you up, is to introduce a new and improved Bible revision. We see this truth evidenced in the Bible. Using this Bible study principle of the law of first mention (that is, the first mention of a subject in the Bible helps us to understand later passages), we learn that Satan is the father of misquoting the Word of God. We read in Genesis 2:16-17, “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Did you get that? God told Adam and Eve that they could eat the fruit of EVERY TREE, save one, the Tree of Knowledge!
Now look what the serpent (Satan according to Revelation 20:2) changed God's Word to say in Genesis 3:1, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” Do you see how subtle and tricky the Devil is? The serpent said the exact oppossite of what God had said. By simply putting a question mark where God had placed a period, the serpent completely changed the context of what God said, magnifying Adam's and Eve's restrictions, instead of magnifying the liberty they had in obedience. Whereas God told them they could EAT FREELY OF EVERY TREE (freedom), the serpent came along and claimed God said: YE SHALL NOT EAT OF EVERY TREE (bondage)! By appealing to Eve's humanity, making her feel left out and betrayed by God, he was able to seduce and deceive Eve into eating the forbidden fruit. Do you see how much of a rotten deceiver and liar the Devil is? The Devil is a beautiful liar!

The Devil's Tactics Are the Same Today

Devil hasn't changed in 6,000 years of human civilization. Here is a
perfect example of Satan at work, who changes THE TRUTH of God into a
lie (Romans 1:25). The ungodly Huffington Post (who are as immoral as
can be) state:

Do you see how the serpent twists THE TRUTH of God's Word into a LIE? What saith the Scripture? The following inspired Scripture passage, in no uncertain terms, condemns the sinful practice of homosexuality, which is worthy of capital punishment as a crime (which it still was in all 50 states in 1962 in the United States)...
Romans 1:26-32, “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”
What further saith the Scripture?
Colossians 3:5-6, “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:”
Only a twisted fool would dare claim that the Bible does condemn the sins of adultery, fornication, moral uncleanness and morbid sexual lust, but then sinfully say that homosexuality is acceptable! Any honest person understands that homosexuality is not only a sin against God, but it is very abnormal and freaky behavior which goes against nature itself. Homosexuality is a self-abasing act, which is the absolute lowest moral point that any person or society can descend to! Once a culture has embraced “sodomy” (the Bible term for the vile and contemptible sin of homosexuality) as “normal,” God's judgment cannot be far away! Americans have shook their arrogant, stuff-necked, fists in the face of a holy omnipotent God, Who will not be mocked! Judgment Day is coming America!!! Read Revelation chapter 18, which I am fully convinced refers to the United States!! WE DESERVE IT!!!

Are you kidding me? Literally, the Huffington Post is saying that a good church will offer strength for Christians who are living in open unrepentant sin! The issue is not about homosexuality here folks, but about sin in general. So according to the Huffington Post, churches ought not make sinners feel bad about themselves, lest they go commit suicide. WELL THEN GET RIGHT WITH GOD!!! According to the deranged minds at the Huffington Post, preachers should always encourage people, especially during times of struggle and sorrow caused by their willful sinning and rebellion against the holy Word of God!!! The Huffington Post is the Devil talking!!!!!! Preachers have a Biblical duty to cry aloud against ALL SIN, including homosexuality. This sick-minded wicked American culture today (being indoctrinated by the Luciferian Zionist/Masonic led media) wants you to believe that adultery is wrong, but homosexuality is acceptable; that murder is wrong, but abortion is acceptable; that stealing is wrong, but greedy business practices are acceptable, et cetera. These wicked sins are not okay!
