The Words Of The Lord Are Very Pure
By David J. Stewart | October 2017
Psalms 12:6-7, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”
One truth that we learn from the Scriptures is that God's words are pure. Psalms 119:140, “Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” Proverbs 30:5, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.” 1st Peter 1:23, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” What beautiful Scriptures!
God's words are “incorruptible.” They cannot be corrupted. The corrupt modern Bible revisions are NOT God's words. If a Bible has been corrupted, God's true words are still incorruptible. You cannot corrupt them! You can say something different than what God said, but then they are not God's words anymore. You can pervert them, but then you are the pervert, not God. If you're my messenger and you say something different than what I told you to say, you haven't corrupted my words, you have told a lie. When someone contacts me to find out what I really said, my words will be clarified.
But wait! How can that which is “incorruptible” be corrupted? 2nd Corinthians 2:17, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” That simply means you can corrupt what God said, but you cannot corrupt what God meant. Or put another way, just because you misrepresent the truth doesn't change the truth. Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Everything that you see around you on earth will one day vanish, going back into the ground from which it came. I wrote an article about this truth back in July of 2017, called “The World And All The Works Therein Will Be Burned Up.”
I began thinking one day about how much I'd love to burn Hollywood to the ground. I pondered how wonderful it would be to burn every tavern to the ground, every casino, every abortion clinic, every public school, every brothel, every heathen Bible college, every demonic Catholic church, every place of deception and sin. Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of 2nd Peter 3:10b, “the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up”), and it dawned on me why God is going to burn this planet and everything in it with fire! Me and God feel the same way!!! I am His child, and His blessed indwelling Holy Spirit teaches me, so it is not surprising that a believer would think like his heavenly Father. Every possession will burn. God will destroy every memory of this vile planet, renovating the earth with fire.
The Exactness of God's Inspired Words
Matthew 5:18, “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” A “jot” and “tittle” are the smallest grammatical marks in the Greek alphabet, similar to the dot over the letter “i” in our English alphabet. How does this exactness, which the Lord expresses toward His very pure words, compare with the flagrant, indifferent and lackadaisical attitude of the Bob Jones University crowd, Moody Bible Institute, Dallas Theological Seminary, Liberty University, Duke University, Columbia College, Indiana Wesleyan University, Baylor University, Emory University, Texas Christian University, and hundreds of other conservative religious institutions of higher learning today? It is a disgrace, nauseating to the nostrils of God, making Him vomit. Truth does not need defense—it only needs witnesses!
“If America does not wake up, her tombstone will read, 'She died because her pastors substituted visions, prophecies, dreams, man’s words, and tongues for the Words of God.'” —Dr. Bob Gray Sr., "Do We Have An Every Word Bible In 2017?"
The greatest threat to young people preparing for the ministry today is Bible colleges!!! The reason why is because spiritually dead college professors, who sinfully elevate scholarship over the inspired words of God, indoctrinate young people to doubt, question and despise the King James Bible. Perhaps none is more guilty than Bob Jones University, who have wholeheartedly endorsed and sell the Alexandrian PERversions. Although I don't agree with all his doctrinal positions, I thank God for Dr. Peter Ruckman's (1921-2016) diligent work on the King James Bible. Dr. Ruckman is considered by many to be the Godfather of King James Bible ONLYism, and I commend him for it! Would to God that we had more truth-seekers today like Pastor Ruckman.
I just read another awesome .PDF book today by Dr. Ruckman titled, “The Professional Liars In Action!” Section two of the book is titled, “The N.I.V., Nutty Idiot's Version” (webpage). I say amen to that! You could also call it the “Non-Inspired Version” or the “H.I.V.” Bible!!! Thank God for Dr. Ruckman and men like him who stand for THE TRUTH, going against the herds of modern apostate religious professors (who elevate manmade scholarship over the eternal inspired words of God). I'm not going to question, critique and change the Holy Bible, because I want the Holy Bible to question, critique and change me! Every word in the Bible is important! Every word is inspired, infallible and perfect!
“God's Word is the weapon of our warfare to defend our mind, to battle against the assault on our mind that takes place daily. And when you understand how important this is, you can see that Satan is out to get your mind! You know—through TV, through music, through advertisements, through billboards, through magazines, through wicked people that you come into contact with—he's constantly trying to get into your mind, to corrupt your mind— Pervert your mind, get you to think wicked thoughts, get you to think an evil thought—and he wants to get into your mind!”

God said what He meant, and He meant what He said.
I am appalled at the lackadaisical attitude of pastors today toward the corruption of God's words. I hear guest preachers speak and say things that the church pastors totally ignore. For example: There's a large local independent Baptist church (i.e., the Bob Jones University crowd) down the street from me on Guam, who invited Evangelist Tom Ferrell to preach for them. He did. In his sermon he made the excellent statement, “A Friend helps a friend to see.” But when I handed Dr. Al Lacy's excellent book, “NIV: The Antichrist's Bible” to the senior pastor, it was game over. I was shortly thereafter confronted and kicked out of their apostate church. I was told that we have a “difference in philosophy of ministry” and they downplayed it, like it was no big deal.
Folks, the accuracy of the Word of God is A BIG DEAL!!! While I left, literally crying, I told the pastors that the entire matter was over the inspiration of the King James Bible, and they weren't right with God for siding with the satanic Alexandrian Bible versions. The church officially uses the Easy-To-Read Version (ERV) printed alongside the King James Bible, in a confusing parallel Bible that they sell. They couldn't have cared less to my gentlemanly admonition in the Lord. Thankfully, I know I will be vindicated at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Those pastors have much blood on their hands, but they don't care. They have corrupted the words of the Living God, but they are indifferent. They have thrown the Word of God under the bus, but they are arrogant and proud!!!

A Major Assault Against the Word of God in Psalms 12:6-7
Psalms 12:6-7, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”
What did God promise to “preserve” “from this generation forever” in Psalms 12:7? What does “them” refer to in Verse 7? The answer is very obvious from reading Verse 6, “THE WORDS OF THE LORD.” And please notice that the words of the Lord “ARE PURE WORDS”!!!!!!! How pure? They are as “pure” as silver that has been purified in a refining furnace seven times!!!!!!!
Why did God mention silver? Why not gold which is far more expensive? I just checked (for October 22, 2017) on the prices of gold and silver. Gold is presently at $1,286.10 per ounce. Silver is at $17.28 per ounce. So gold costs 74 times more than silver! Interestingly, silver is actually more valuable than gold, and there is more of the mineral gold on earth than there is silver. Here's an article I found today titled, “Silver market Set Up For Much Higher Price Move Than Gold.” This is a fascinating topic of study, that is, how silver relates to the purity of God's words. There is much truth to be gleaned from it. So why is gold so expensive? Gold prices are artificially driven up by false gold scarcity, which is controlled by the industry. Our great God knew what He was doing when He authored the Holy Bible. Silver is an amazing and unique metal, with more useful properties than any other metal used in industry.
When God compares His very pure words to silver, He is not considering dollar value, but purity, which is priceless. Let me amaze you. There are many different things to consider here. When most people think of value, they think of retail cost, but true value has little to do with the cost of something. For example: How many people today view the precious Word of God as being more valuable than gold? Hardly anyone. You can buy a nice genuine leather-bound King James Bible for about $50. If you were given a choice of an ounce of gold ($1,286) or a $50 Bible, which would you choose? I mean, if you couldn't buy a Bible with the gold, and you could only have one or the other, which one would you prefer? You know it, and I know it, that 99% of people would sinfully take the gold! Yet, hear what the psalmist said in Psalms 119:127, “Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.” Why did David value some parchments more than very expensive fine gold? It's because David valued the truths recorded on those parchments. Psalms 119:72, “The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.” David exclaimed that God's commandments were more valuable to him than THOUSANDS of gold and silver. There are 16 ounces in one pound, which sets the present cost of gold at $20,577.60 per pound! Yet, David esteemed the Holy Bible worth more than “THOUSANDS” of silver and gold, which is a lot of money!
David saw great wealth in God's Word, that far, far, exceeded the value of gold. How valuable is the King James Bible to you? What would you give to have God's Word, if you didn't have it? The lost and dying world sees no value at all in the Good Book. Many of them spit upon it, literally. Some have tried to eradicate the earth of it, burning every copy they could find, but to no avail. God's words are here, freely available to mankind, and Satan will never rid the earth of THE TRUTH!!!
Now consider how the heathen value things. Psalms 115:4, “Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.” Psalms 135:15, “The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.” I tell you, the modern Alexandrian Bible PERversions are THE WORK OF MEN'S HANDS!!! The ungodly world worship gods made of of silver and gold, but as Christians we worship the God Who made silver and gold! The greatest things in life are not things. Praise the Lord!

“Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.” —George Bernard Shaw
Please notice three things that the Bible says are MORE VALUABLE THAN GOLD:
PERSECUTIONS AND PROBLEMS - 1st Peter 1:7, “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.” THE BLOOD OF JESUS - 1st Peter 1:18-19, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” THE WORDS OF GOD - Psalms 19:9, “The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.” Psalms 19:10, “More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.” Psalms 119:127, “Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.” These are things that the unsaved world place NO VALUE upon, none whatsoever. The unbelieving world has no faith, so how can their faith be tested if they don't have any faith? Granted, the same afflictions and problems happen to unbelievers as believers, but it is only a test of your faith if you FIRST HAVE FAITH. Think about that. A faith MUST be tested!!! Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” HAVE FAITH IN GOD!!!
Unshakable Faith Comes from Having Our Faith Shaken
Praying is in itself, evidence of faith. And the more reasons you have not to pray (discouragement, unanswered prayers, unalleviated suffering, et cetera), the greater faith is required to KEEP ON PRAYING. God deliberately led the Hebrews out of the bondage of slavery in Egypt, into the bondage of a barren dessert that was a horrible place of scorching heat, draught, scorpions, snakes, dust storms, not enough food and about as close to “hell on earth” as one could get. The Hebrews were angry at Moses and God! The Bible says in Deuteronomy 8:2-3 that God did it intentionally to test their faith...
“And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.”
My friend, we serve the same wonderful God today. Romans 15:4 teaches that everything written in the Old Testament was “written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” When we read the biographies of the saints of old, and read about their afflictions, heartaches and times that required blind faith in a God they couldn't see, it comforts us and gives us hope in these modern times, doesn't it. IT SURE DOES!!! Thank God for the precious Scriptures!!!!!!!
Please notice in the preceding passage of Scripture in Deuteronomy 8:4, that God tested the Hebrews, deliberately making their lives miserable (as He still does to us today in 2017), to TEACH US THAT THERE'S MORE TO LIFE THAN OUR DAILY PROVISIONS. Here we see the Bible passage Jesus was referring to, when he quoted the popular Scripture in Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” It is life's problems, heartaches and afflictions that drive us to the Word of God for comfort, hope and encouragement!!! Sometimes we need rebuke and chastisement. At other times we need strength. It's all found in God's Word my dear brother or sister in Christ. And if you're not in Christ (born-again), well, good night, what are you waiting for friend? Please get saved before it is too late!
Value is a relative thing. During famine in the land, you cannot eat your gold if there is a food shortage. You'd be starving to death without food. So if someone wanted your $20,577.60 pound brick of gold, in exchange for a sack lunch with one baloney and cheese sandwich on white bread, and a small snack-size container of applesauce, and a small bag of Doritos chips, you'd gladly exchange the gold for the food. So you see, something's value can suddenly change drastically. God says that “the trial of our faith” is worth much more than gold... “BEING MUCH MORE PRECIOUS THAN OF GOLD” (1st Peter 1:7b). Gold will someday perish, but our eternal life will not! Lifting weights makes the body stronger. Likewise, bearing life's heavy burdens makes us stronger, if we don't give up.
The ungodly world views the Christian life as a form of oppression. Ah, but my friend, there is no slavery like that which the consequences of sin brings. Sin fascinates and then it assassinates. Sin thrills and then it kills. Jesus invites us to take His yoke upon us, and learn of Him (in the Scriptures), for His yoke is easy and light to bear (because He shares the load). A “yoke” is a wooden or metal device placed across the shoulders of two oxen, used to pull a field plow. The Scriptures compare such a yoke with life's burdens. In the world, you bear that load all by yourself, and it crushes many souls. But our dear Lord wants us to take His yoke upon us, and help pull the load to share the Gospel to get souls saved. Matthew 11:29-30, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
ONE SOUL SAVED IS WORTH MORE VALUE THAN ALL THE GOLD IN THE WORLD!!!!!!! Assurance of salvation is priceless (that is, having it settled in your soul that you are saved permanently and eternally). There is no separate doctrine of eternal security in the Bible. The eternal life which we were given by God at the time of salvation, is our eternal security. The only type of life that God gives is “eternal life.” John 10:28, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” John 3:15, “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
The Words of the Lord Are Very Pure
God called His words “very pure” in Psalms 119:140, “Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” David said he loved God's Word because IT IS VERY PURE. David, as myself, would have hated the hundreds of English Bible PERversions today, which generate utter confusion, lacking authority, and create a lackadaisical attitude toward God's Word. ...
“Anyone who thinks that he can find the errors in the AV (as Origen found them in the Hebrew Old Testament) and then, after correcting 64,000 of them (that is the number of changes found in the NIV and NASV), still cannot produce an inerrant “Bible,” is not in anyone’s “humility” bracket. They BOAST ABOUT THEIR ABILITY TO CORRECT GOD ALMIGHTY.” —Dr. Peter S. Ruckman, “The Mythological Septuagint,” page 60.
“The first two requirements of a Biblical scholar are a humble mind and a believing heart (1 Cor. 1-2; Isa. 29; Luke 10; 1 Thess. 2; Deut. 29:29).” —Dr. Peter S. Ruckman, “The Alexandrian Cult Series,” page 75.If there is one thing lacking amongst conservative religious scholars today, it is HUMILITY.
Someone just recently asked me what is the best textbook for a new believer to learn from. It was a very good question. The answer was easy. 1st Peter 2:1, “Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.” The Word of God is not only the “best,” it is the “ONLY” textbook for a new believer. 1st Peter 1:23 says that we are “born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” We grow in the “milk” of the same “word of God” by which we have been “born again” (born from above) into God's family. To be “born again” means to have He, Who is the beginning, born in us!!! We can learn, but we cannot “grow” by the words of mortal men. To grow in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we must “SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES” (John 5:39).
Granted, you can fill your mind with all sorts of knowledge from books written by men, but this is not God's way for us to grow in the Lord. Gods way is for us to nurture, as newborn babes, desiring the milk of the Word. If you've ever watched bear cubs, kittens or dog pups at dining time, they're all over their mother's underside, fighting for unreserved parking over whatever milk nipple is available. We ought to have a natural hunger, a desire to nourish on the milk of God's Word, when we get saved. I was saved at age 13 in 1980. The first thing I remember was a strong desire to read God's Word. I wanted to hear from the Lord. The only textbook which I read from, for the first year that I was saved, was from an inspired, holy, King James Bible. Kindly, if you don't have a King James Bible, you don't have a Holy Bible. The King James Bible is not one of many, it is ONE OF A KIND!!! Thank God for His INSPIRED, very pure, Words.

Where two authorities conflict, the deciding authority is the third authority. ... Therefore, opinions to the contrary by 'good, godly, dedicated soul winners' are not to be taken seriously where they deal with final authority.” —Dr. Peter S. Well, all we can say is that the deadliest enemies of Biblical truth in America in the Body of Christ since 1901—the men who have done more to destroy the faith of Americans in the words of God than all infidels, Modernists, Catholics, Communists, Atheists, and Humanists combined—have been the educated Conservative scholars and teachers WHO WERE SO AFRAID OF RIDICULE THAT THEY APPROACHED THE WORDS OF GOD (note the plural: not the “Word”) WITH THE IDEA IN MIND OF PRESERVING THEIR OWN IMAGES AND INCOMES (see “Moby Dick and the White Crocodile”). —Dr. Peter S. I am appalled at the indifference amongst professed Christians today concerning the corrupting of God's Word. They just don't care which Bible is God's Word. I'm talking about thousands of shameful apostate religious colleges today, that are INDIFFERENT toward the hundreds of perverted English Bibles, all of which are the Devil's way of depriving people of the true and pure Word of God. Consequently, there are many false plans of salvations being taught in the churches today, mainly the heresy of manmade repentance, aka, Lordship Salvation.
