For Whosoever Calleth Uponthe Name of the Lord Shall Be Saved

Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
The promise is not maybe or eventually, but “SHALL,” meaning immediately, eternally and permanently! What a simple but profound truth!!! Here we see the simplicity that is in Jesus Christ! The man, woman or child that calls upon the name of Jesus SHALL BE SAVED.
What does it mean to “call”? Contrary to what many people think, the word “call” doesn't not mean to audibly call; but rather, to simply place your confidence in the Lord to be saved. It means to “trust” upon the name of Jesus for salvation. Since we cannot see Jesus physically, we have no other option but to trust upon His “name” instead. That is exactly what God the Father wants us to do! ...
Acts 4:10-12, “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Notice carefully the truths we just read in Acts 4:10-12... “BY THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST” and “FOR THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED.” Salvation can be found ONLY in the precious NAME of Jesus! For this reason, I am against substituting the name “Yeshua” instead of Jesus, which is becoming popular these days in Jewish circles. If God meant Yeshua, then He would have said Yeshua; but read what the Holy Bible says in Matthew 2:21, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” The name “Yeshua” attempts to link the satanic religion of Judaism together with Bible Christianity, leading people into false religion. CHRIST-REJECTING JUDAISM IS OF THE DEVIL!!! THE TALMUD IS SATANIC!!! PRESENT-DAY ISRAEL IS MANMADE!!!
Romans 10:13 is a quote from the Old Testament. Joel 2:32, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” It simply means that if you place your confidence (trust) in Jesus Christ, He immediately saves you! 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” That is the way of salvation “through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith” (Philippians 3:9b).
I was listening to the King James Bible yesterday, and when I heard Romans 10:13, the simplicity of salvation was as clear as day. WE ARE SAVED BY TRUSTING CHRIST! Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” There is no mention of turning from sinful behavior (i.e., a wrong meaning of repentance). There is no mention of speaking-in-tongues. There is no mention of water baptism. There is no mention of anything other than placing one's trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. “THE GOSPEL” is defined for us in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4... Christ DIED on the cross for our sins, He was BURIED, and then three days later Jesus bodily RESURRECTED from the dead. BELIEVE IT AND YOU'RE SAVED!!! If you receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full-payment for your sins, believing that He was buried and raised up the third day, YOU ARE SAVED!!! That is how you receive God's gift of eternal life, by placing your sole confidence in the facts of the Gospel. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Whatever comes our way.
Whatever
battle we have raging inside us.
We always have a choice.
It's the
choices that make us who we are,
and we can always choose to do what
is right.
