The Sin of Condemning Anyone

Romans 2:1-3, “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?”
First, notice carefully in our beautiful text passage of Scripture, what the Holy Bible is not saying. The Bible is not saying that it is okay to judge others if you are living right. Many people no doubt make this wrong conclusion, since the Bible mentions what many would call “deep sins” (i.e., adultery and murder). However, all sin is deep sin. Gossip, promoting corrupt Bible versions, teaching wrong repentance, indifference, hating others and not praying regularly for each other are amongst the worst of sins. A lack of prayer in the life of a Christian essentially makes one no better than the atheist who also doesn't pray.
Second, here's what the Bible is teaching in Romans 2:1-3... Since WE ARE ALL GUILTY SINNERS, no one has a right to judge (condemn) anyone else. You may not commit adultery, but you certainly are guilty of other sins. You may not think that running your mouth with gossip is very bad, but in God's eyes it is equivalent to murder. You are killing someone else with your words. Jesus warned in Matthew 5:21-22 that hating someone without cause is the same as murdering them. My point is that we are all horrible sinners in God's sight. Don't judge others because they sin differently than you do!!!
1st Timothy 5:24, “Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.” That is a very interesting Scripture. It's meaning is quite clear... DON'T CONDEMN OTHERS FOR THEIR SINS!!! We all know of horrible things that many professed believers have done. Some Christians are in prison. Others have commit suicide. Countless Christian testimonies have been ruined because of sin. And then there is that pharisaical crowd, whose sins have not been found out yet. They have successfully managed to live above reproach. But let me tell you, ladies and gentleman, NO ONE can live above sin!!! I don't care if you've never been caught with your pants down with a stranger, or haven't been caught red-handed with your paws somewhere they shouldn't have been, YOU ARE A DIRTY SINNER, AND SO AM I!!!
We're all filthy sinners in the omniscient sight of our holy Creator. We ALL deserve to be punished in Hell for our own sins. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” We earn wages every time we sin, and the Bible says for unbelievers, those wages will be paid in the fires of Hell (Revelation 20:11-15). Thankfully, if you have submitted to God's righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ, then your sins have all been washed away completely by Jesus' precious blood (1st Corinthians 6:11; 1st John 1:7; 1st Peter 1:18-19; Romans 5:9; Revelation 1:5). My friend, if you are a redeemed child of God, the ONLY difference between you and the vilest, wickedest, most sinister unsaved human being who ever lived, is the precious blood of Jesus Christ that cleansed away all your sins!!! That is the ONLY difference! Apart from the glorious blood of the slain and risen Lamb of God, Who washed away our sins and made us whiter than snow, we are no different than the most evil person in existence in God's eyes. James 2:10, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”
Romans 2:1-3 plainly teaches that there is NEVER a justifiable time for us to condemn anyone who sins, BECAUSE WE SIN TOO!!! Just because someone has cleaned up their life of drunkenness, fornication and lying, doesn't give them the right to condemn others who are still doing those things. The reason why is because only Jesus is sinless (Hebrews 4:15). You may not do the sinful things you used to do, but you still sin in other ways EVERY DAY! 1st Samuel 12:23, “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way.” How many believers think it is a sin not to pray as they ought? Not many. Prayer evidences our dependence upon God. If we don't pray, we are telling God that we can do it alone, that we don't need His help.
Besides being heathendom, not depending upon the Lord through prayer is sinful. My friend, if you and I could fully comprehend just how sinful we all truly are, we'd either fall to the ground in horror and fear of judgment; or we'd praise God like never before for the gift of His dear only begotten Son, for the precious blood that Jesus shed for our many sins!!! We are ALL so unworthy of God's love, grace and mercy! I do not judge ANYONE, for I am THE BIGGEST SINNER I know! The apostle Paul felt the same way. Romans 7:24, “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?”
Dr. Jack Hyles preaches a wonderful MP3 sermon on the topic, titled, “The Good Man Verses The Spiritual Man.” The good man who is saved, who has cleaned up his life of sin, still judges others when they sin, looking down on their sin. Ah, but the spiritual man is more mature in God's eyes, who when others sin, he doesn't judge them. Rather, he views himself as equally having sinned, and feels as if he has sinned with the fallen person. In other words, he judges himself as being a needy sinner too, before he judges another. The good man mourns his past sins, but the spiritual man mourns that he IS A SINNER! If we would always keep in mind that WE ARE SINFUL, we wouldn't condemn others when they sin. Just because you don't do the things you used to do, doesn't give you the right to condemn others who are still living in sin. The reason why is because YOU AND I ARE STILL SINNERS TOO!!!

“The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.” ―Elie Wiesel
I am appalled at the indifference amongst professed Christians today concerning the corrupting of God's Word. They just don't care which Bible is God's Word. I'm talking about thousands of shameful apostate religious colleges today, that are INDIFFERENT toward the hundreds of perverted English Bibles, all of which are the Devil's way of depriving people of the true and pure Word of God. Consequently, there are many false plans of salvations being taught in the churches today, mainly the heresy of manmade repentance, aka, Lordship Salvation.
