Forgiveness is Really a Matter Of Faith in God
By David J. Stewart | November 2017
Ephesians 4:32,
“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven
you.”
The Holy Bible tells us to “FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER, EVEN AS GOD”! God is the author of forgiveness and love. God loved us first. 1st John 3:16, “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” A Christian who walks close to God is willing to die for other believers. If we don't love one another with a sacrificial kind of love, we are not walking in the Spirit as we ought.
God demonstrated His love toward us, by giving His only begotten Son to die on the cross for our many sins. Think about that! Before you were even born, God knew every horrible sinful thing that you would ever do. I don't care if you've murdered a bunch of people, God died for your sins!!! Jesus died on the cross for murderers! Jesus died on the cross for prostitutes! Jesus died on the cross for hatemongers! Jesus died on the cross for the vilest of criminals! Jesus even died for you and me! John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Many people misunderstand forgiveness. What is it? From one aspect, forgiveness is letting an unpunished offence go into God's hands for judgment. Romans 12:19, “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” The Scriptures are speaking on a personal level. We are not supposed to take the law into our own hands (and oftentimes there is nothing we can do). Most of the horrible things (sins) that people do to each other are not illegal in man's world. For example: Someone can spread lies and misinformation about you on the internet, and there's virtually nothing you can do about it. Most slander comes from anonymous sources, so you cannot sue them. They are cowards, which is why they withhold their identity. But God sees all and will judge men for every word they type or speak (Matthew 12:36).
I've been often told that I am one of the most criticized preachers on the internet. I don't think about it. I have perfect peace that God is always keeping watch of everything, monitoring every detail of everyone's life, and I trust in the Lord to fight my battles. I choose to be happy. I choose not to be offended by things. I choose to love everyone. I choose to unconditionally love all my neighbours. It is all really a matter of faith in God, for if I sincerely believe in my soul that God is in control of the universe, and we must all give account one day for our every deed (Ecclesiastes 12:14) and word (Matthew 12:36), then I can gladly let everything go into the Lord's omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), omnipresent (all present), omnibenevolent (all loving) and omnisapient (all wise) hands.
Note: Another example of an evil, that we virtually cannot do anything about, is the fraudulent banking system in America. Since 1913, a wicked group of private international banksters have been stealing from American citizens. They have achieved this fraud by fabricating a fake banking system, called the Fractional Reserve Banking System, which allows them to only have 10% of the total amount of money printed and lent out! This fake system gives greedy private bankers the manipulative power to set the value of money, by simply controlling supply and demand (i.e., interest rates). A higher interest rate IS A RAISE IN TAX! Higher interest rates means it costs more to do business, which requires more money, creating more demand, forcing business to raise prices to survive. It is so simple and yet profoundly complex. And if that's not insulting and crooked enough, President Richard Nixon in the 1970's completely removed our nation from the Gold Standard, so now there is NO RESERVE at all. Money is literally worthless, only worth what the Federal Reserve decides it is worth. What a scam! The Federal Reserve is untouchable, above U.S law, literally. Wall Street owns and controls the Central Intelligence Agency! Truly, Satan is the god of this world, and he controls his world by controlling the nation's money!
I don't hate those crooked people. I choose to love everyone. God is going to get them one day! I wish I could dismantle the Federal Reserve Banking System. President John F. Kennedy tried it and they murdered him for it (presidential directive 11110). Forgiveness is a choice! I choose to forgive everyone, even before it is asked. You can choose to withhold forgiveness if you prefer, but then you will hurt yourself, becoming bitter and misery and a vengeful spirit. ...
“Probably the only pure love in this world, is the kind of love that is
given
from one person to another, when that person can return nothing.”
(a quote by
Pastor Jack Hyles, from his awesome 1987 MP3 sermon titled, “Who
Cares Anyway?)
Pastor Jack Hyles had the right idea, who rightly said, “If I was ever your friend, I'm always your friend. Stab me if you want to, I'm your friend. Stab me in the heart, I'm your friend. Stab me in the back, I'm your friend! Hate me with a passion, I'm your friend. Destroy me if you will, I'm your friend. And if you kill me, on my dying breath, I'll still your friend. You can't keep me from that!” (a beautiful quote from his MP3 sermon titled, “Who Cares Anyway?,” preached on August 9th, 1987 at First Baptist Church of Hammond). Amen, I want to be that kind of friend. Remember, it's more important to BE a friend than it is to HAVE a friend. Blessed is the man who has a friend. More blessed is the man who is a friend. But most blessed is the man who is and has a friend. Most Christians have no comprehension of what it means to be a friend. Proverbs 17:17, “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
“Money
is the cheapest thing in the world, and it's caused more trouble and
heartache!”
(a quote by
Pastor Jack Hyles, from his awesome 1987 MP3 sermon titled, “Who
Cares Anyway?)
We are living in such shallow times in American culture. We've lost our soul in America. So many people are cold nowadays, distrustful, shallow, superficial, selfish, thinking only about their own interests and agendas. The Holy Bible foretold that these times would come. Matthew 24:11-12, “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” In view of legalized same-sex marriage, and the legalization of murdering human life in the womb, what can we expect in America? Life has become cheap these days. Young people in particular these days have little or not respect for life, others or God. They are self-willed, self-righteous, selfish and self-conscious as can be.
Our dear Lord Jesus Christ was a wonderful person, Who loved others and sacrificially lived to help those in need...
“God Himself became a Man, to give mankind a concrete, definite, tangible idea of what kind of Person to think of when we think of God. God is like Jesus. Jesus was God incarnate in human form. His appearance on earth is the Central Event of all history. The Old Testament sets the stage for it. The New Testament describes it. As a man, He lived the most strangely Beautiful Life ever known. He was the Kindest, Tenderest, Gentlest, most Patient, most Sympathetic man that ever lived. He Loved people. He hated to see people in trouble. He loved to Forgive. He loved to Help. He wrought marvelous miracles to feed hungry people. For relieving the suffering He forgot to take food for Himself. Multitudes, weary, pain-ridden, and heart-sick, came to Him, and found healing and relief. It is said of Him, and of no other, that if all the deeds of Kindness that He did were written, the world would not contain the books. That is the kind of man Jesus was. That is the kind of Person God is. Then: He Died, on the Cross, to take away the Sin of the world, to become the Redeemer and Saviour of man. Then: He Rose from the Dead: is Alive Now: not merely an historical character, but a Living Person: the Most Important Fact of History, and Most Vital Force in the world today.”—Henry H. Halley (1874-1965)
I choose to forgive my bitterest critics. I love them all! I choose to love even the lost unloving person. That is God's precious Holy Spirit in me. Do I get frustrated and angry at times? Of course I do. But I have learned to LET GO, LET GOD quickly. Life is too short to love with a burden of hatred against anyone. Psalms 119:165, “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” Nothing in this world is greater than having genuine love for God and others. LOVE NEVER FAILETH! 1st Corinthians 13:8, “Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.” We ought to plan to think about people, what they're going through. We ought to plan to think of ways that we can help others. The more we think about others, the bigger our heart's burden will become, and the more compassion we will have. We all need to get out of the self life! Proverb:17:17a, “A friend loveth at all times...”
God is love, and those who walk closely with Him, will also love. Sometimes loves requires preaching hard against sin, and taking an unpopular stand against fellow believers for sinful compromise (such as over the Alexandrian Bible perversions in the churches), but our heart's love for those whom we refute ought to equal our hatred for every false way. I love everyone, God knows my heart. I hope you'll join me in the Lord, and love others too. The great need in our churches today is truth and love. And if we had love, we would have truth, because it requires love for someone to tell others the truth, especially when they don't want to hear it. I am telling everyone THE TRUTH, because that is what a preacher is supposed to do! It is because God loves you through me, whoever you may be!
So, forgiveness is matter of faith, of taking God at His promise to avenge all wrongs, and to make everything right one day in eternity. What a precious and awesome living God we have!!!

“And brother, any time anybody ever casts any reflection upon the accuracy and the inspiration—verbal inspiration—of this Bible, I'll guarantee you he was inspired by the demons. I'll guarantee you! I don't care if he's got a 'reverend' in front of his name. I don't care if he has a clerical collar on. I don't care what school he's been to. He's of the Devil if he says that the Bible is not verbally inspired by God!” —Dr. Jack Hyles, a great quote from the awesome MP3 sermon titled, “Satan's masterpiece.”
BATTLE OF THE AGES (MP3 by Dr. Hyles, “The King James Bible crowd is going to come out on top!”)
“The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.” ―Elie Wiesel
I am appalled at the indifference amongst professed Christians today concerning the corrupting of God's Word. They just don't care which Bible is God's Word. I'm talking about thousands of shameful apostate religious colleges today, that are INDIFFERENT toward the hundreds of perverted English Bibles, all of which are the Devil's way of depriving people of the true and pure Word of God. Consequently, there are many false plans of salvations being taught in the churches today, mainly the heresy of manmade repentance, aka, Lordship Salvation. Here is a truthful quote from Pastor Jack Hyles...
